An incomprehensible statement, which sharpens the fact that the man didn't see himself as subordinate to the political echelon but as an autonomous entity serving an imagined "kingdom" that doesn't answer to the name State of Israel and its elected institutions. E. The final proof that Bar didn't see himself as subordinate to the government, nor truly see himself as bearing personal and direct responsibility for the failure, came when he refused to accept the government's decision to end his term, clinging to the horns of the altar and writing to government ministers that he would listen only to the court. A farce without precedent with regard to any serving head of a security organization - a mutiny, plain and simple. Bar's conduct was and remains arrogant and dangerous, thoroughly political, anti-statesmanlike and anti-democratic. Bar's taking of responsibility was lip service, zero responsibility and true bowing of the head. Shameful.
