In light of the above, the petitions were accepted, and the court ordered the conditional order to be made absolute, in the sense that the said decision of the Central Elections Committee will be cancelled. It was clarified that in the absence of explicit authorization in law, party representatives at polling stations are not permitted to pass to their parties information about a person's exercise or non-exercise of the right to vote." The Muslim may be Muslim. The Christian may be Christian. The Jew is required to be "universal." In other words - less Jewish. And so the struggle on Tel Baruch beach is not really a struggle over a partition. The partition is just the excuse of the day. The real struggle is over a much deeper question: whether, after two thousand years of exile, a Jew who has returned to his land may finally live in it as a Jew - in freedom and in security, without asking permission and without apologizing for his very identity. Three years ago we already saw the harsh scenes of Yom Kippur in Tel Aviv. We saw prayer turn into a wrestling arena. We saw how, precisely in the name of liberalism, the fight against Jewish tradition becomes an act considered enlightened. A few days later the enemy struck us and massacred us on October 7. Three years of war should have taught us something about the meaning of identity. About the meaning of a people. About the price paid by a society that disconnects from itself, until it struggles to tell friend from foe. But there are those who refuse to learn. They are still fighting the partition. Still frightened by a Jew who puts on tefillin, prays, believes - and remembers who he is. And they still call it "freedom." No. Freedom is not the demand that the Jew shed his identity in order to be worthy of the public space. Freedom is exactly the opposite. We did not return to the land of our forefathers after two thousand years of exile in order to exchange physical exile for spiritual exile. We did not establish a Jewish state so that the Jew would once again be forced to downplay his Judaism, apologize for it and ask permission to live by it. We returned here to be free people. And free people do not ask permission to be who they are.

It is intended to give the IDF and the political echelon much greater military and diplomatic room for maneuver should we again find ourselves in a large and prolonged war, in the medium to long term.
