Alon Futerman, born in 1982, is a social entrepreneur in education. He founded and ran TALMA, a national English-teaching excellence programme, was a senior adviser to Education Minister Yuli Tamir (2005–2009), served as director-general of Keren Hayesod (2022–2023) and now heads the fund for rebuilding Kibbutz Kfar Aza. He is 29th on the Yashar! list.
