Adina Bar-Shalom is the daughter of the late Shas spiritual leader Rabbi Ovadia Yosef and the founder of the Haredi College of Jerusalem, which pioneered academic degrees for ultra-Orthodox students; she received the Israel Prize for lifetime achievement in 2014. She is an honorary candidate on the Yashar! list at No. 118.
