Tamar Zandberg was a Meretz MK (2013–2021), led Meretz in 2018–2019 and served as Minister of Environmental Protection (2021–2022). She now heads a climate and environmental policy institute at Ben-Gurion University and holds a symbolic slot on The Democrats' 2026 list.
