Dr. Rotem Sivan-Hoffman is a senior physician, a neuroradiologist and brain catheterisation specialist who directs the imaging institute at Meir Medical Center, and co-founder of the AI stroke-detection startup CVAID Medical. After 7 October 2023 she co-founded and led Ima Era ("Awake Mother"), a movement of soldiers' mothers that protested the conduct of the Gaza war; she has two sons who have served in the army. She also founded the Healthy Israel Forum (Forum Yisrael Bria'a) and writes columns for Zman Yisrael and Haaretz. She is 19th on The Democrats' list for 2026.
