Ayman Odeh is a lawyer from Haifa who led Hadash and headed the Joint List in 2015, 2019 and 2020. He was a Haifa city councillor (1998–2005) and Hadash secretary-general from 2006, and has been an MK since 2015. He said in 2023 that he would leave politics at the end of his term; Yousef Jabareen replaced him as Hadash chairman in May 2026, and he holds a symbolic slot (no. 109) on the 2026 list.
