Avi Dichter is Israel's agriculture minister and a former director of the Shin Bet (2000–2005). He entered politics with Kadima, serving as public security minister, and later joined Likud, chairing the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee. His vote in the 2026 Likud primary roughly halved compared with 2022, leaving him outside a realistic slot.
